Worlds Apart was a project that kept me occupied for a while in 1997. At first the ideas came thick and fast, I did 23 of them on the first day and ended up drained of ideas 3 months later after completing the 120th. I'll probably add more as I scan them. I had Aliens on the brain at the time after reading Above Top Secret by Timothy Good. It's an extremely intense read, a real eye opener, the only book on the subject you'll ever need to read, however I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who suffers from anxiety or depression. The author remains completely impartial and only states facts gathered from documents and memo's released under the freedom of information act that had recently been passed. The chapters about the governmental agencies around the world who take the subject very seriously indeed are particularly interesting. I think maybe these cartoons were my way of making light of the shocking revelations contained in this book, for my own mental safety. I don't know if it was the book or the cartoons, but I had some outrageous alien/UFO dreams during this period.
